Are You Kind To Yourself? | Self-Care Tips by Jellyque
Be Kind To Other, Be Kinder To Yourself
I’d like to share with you about what I am doing for self-care. It sounds like a special thing, but it's just kind of a little daily routines. I want to remind of you that ‘Be kind to other, Be kinder to yourself’.
I am a kind of person who is strict to others, but even more strict to myself. But when I paint, I generally feel more generous to myself. The reason is that I always make a plan and follow the schedule no matter what, and I feel relieved to have everything in my plan, so I think it's a time when I can be free myself from that obsession.
Of course, I have a plan on how to paint and what colors I’ll choose before painting, but the painting is an art field, the beginning and results I drew in my head were slightly different.
Also, it didn't turn out as I expected, so there was an uncomfortable feeling and disappointed at myself, but the Having a painting time doesn’t make me feel frustrated.
Painting time is the only thing that I am immersed in without pressure and accept even the reversal of the result. In a way, it seems that my artistic tendencies and art don't match, but it's interesting that I have my own unique talents.
Fortunately, I'm glad there are some ways and time to be kind to myself. I asked myself this question, how come I can feel free for this time? and I think it's because I'm doing what I love. Generally, I like the painting as it is and mostly the color makes me happy.
I am very sensitive to color, which means I am a color lover. I think the biggest charm is that colors have a variety of atmospheres and meanings, and that I can combine and express the colors I want to create. Even if I paint with the same paints and the same tones every time, it is awesome to see a different work always.
Well, it seems we must do at least one or two things that we like or makes you happy so we can keep having a healthy life. Painting is a precious and special for me, like a racehorse, to give me a break.
Another important thing is that we need an eye to discover the meaning of these tiny and trivial things. I think most people who live in modern society get used to be kind to other not themselves.
And we are not familiar with even these words that we want to be kind to ourselves. I hope we should be kinder for ourselves from now on. I’ll send you jellyful energy and have a jellyful day.
